5:50 Project

COTH Studio, in collaboration with four different artists, takes inspiration from that fascinating moment when sunlight is reflected on the water during the sunset and passes through parts of Baan Rim Naam, to create 5:50 Project.

The collective piece includes The Eyes and The Sun, a light installation embedded with a kinetic function; The Rule of Nature, a set of mirrors that reflect the colors of the sunset onto dark corners; Into the Chao Phraya, which imagines how sea creatures would feel during the sunset; and Altering, a series of sunset scenes recorded on different days.
